What is a Concierge?
Concierge is a word of French origin that means house guardian, and he was, in past times, and throughout centuries, an important member of a lairds household. Just as it was their duty at the time, today a concierge's duties are to provide the services for a pleasant stay. Hotels have today replaced castles and palaces adn the concierge continues to provide his traditional services. The twenty-first century in which we live, has given concierges their deserved places in private households. More and more, concierges are taking over everyday tasks from our stressed society: purchases, reservations of restaurants, provision of cleaning personnel, and many more chores. In brief, the concierge is your personal assistant.
Who is Concierge Experts?Concierge Experts follows this tradition and employs professional concierges of the hotel industry to take care of personal services.
Helmut Schöffl(50) founded this company and is its Managing Director.
Helmut Schöffl’s career spans 30 years in the concierge and customer service sector. He has worked in prestigious Vienna hotels and has also assisted numerous clients on a personal basis, both in Austria and abroad.
Apart from his achievements in the 5 star hotel industry, Helmut and Concierge Experts International have also been active, since 1992, in the education of Concierges at the Bad Gleichenberg School of Tourism, from which 1000 junior concierges have already graduated.
Throughout his career he has been fortunate enough to meet, serve and work with a variety of guests, customers and business partners, many of whom are now his friends. He has always folled the motto “Together at the service for the guest”.
